Saint Joseph’s College Inducts Melanie Edson of Waterford to National Honor Society

STANDISH, ME (10/08/2013)(readMedia)– Melanie Edson of Waterford, Conn., was recently inducted as a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. A junior nursing student, she is vice president of the Student Nursing Association and a tutor.

Delta Epsilon Sigma is a national scholastic honor society for students of colleges and universities with a Catholic tradition. It was founded in 1939 to recognize academic accomplishments, to foster scholarly activities and to encourage a sense of intellectual community among its members. Membership is based on leadership, service and superior achievement in the student’s academic program.
