New ‘Women of FIRE’ Named

Waterford Branch Manager Anne Ogden and Certified Financial Planner Paulette Retsinas of Chelsea Groton have been named Connecticut “Women of FIRE.” The annual award, sponsored by The Commercial Record, honors fifteen of the “brightest, most innovative women in the FIRE Industry (finance, insurance, and real estate).” The Commercial Record readers and judges selected the winners, who were honored at an August 14 luncheon at the Hartford Club ballroom.
“We are thrilled that our own Anne Ogden and Paulette Retsinas received this recognition,” stated Chelsea Groton president and CEO Michael Rauh. “These two shining stars are well deserving of the recognition.  They’re deeply involved in their communities and are highly regarded by their customers and colleagues—it’s no surprise that they were nominated.  Congratulations Anne and Paulette on this great honor!”
“We searched for the best of the best,” said Timothy M. Warren Jr., CEO of The Warren Group, publisher of The Commercial Record, and found “those women who are making a difference through innovation, hard work, team-building, philanthropy, mentoring or leadership—and these women demonstrate these exemplary qualities.”
Anne Ogden, Assistant Vice President, has been with Chelsea Groton since 1986 and branch manager since 1996. Since then she’s supported nearly two dozen community service organizations—including the Board of Education, Waterford Rotary Club, American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors and the Chelsea Groton Bank Foundation—as a volunteer, committee member or board member.
Paulette Retsinas, CFP, CLTC, an Investment Executive with Infinex, has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years. Paulette serves on the board of the Jonnycake Center in Westerly and on the Finance and Investment Committees of the Westerly Memorial Library.
