New London Mayor Daryl Justin Finizio, right, joins leaders from the Shiloh Baptist Church in a moment of prayer and reflection on January 21, at the annual parade honoring the late Martin Luther King, Jr. Mayor Finizio paid for a special permit which allowed the parade and ceremonies to be carried out with the presence and protection of the New London Police Department.
