Blunt White of Chelsea Groton Bank has been honored as a Community Bank Hero at a reception by the Commercial Record held at the Farmington Marriott.
Community Bank Heroes are selected because they “make outstanding contributions to the industry and the community, giving freely of their time, energy and resources for volunteerism, community service and charity,” said the Record at the July 18 event.
“I am honored to be recognized with this award and have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the local community,” said White.
The Commercial Record is a specialty publication covering real estate, banking, and construction in Connecticut.
A Stonington resident, White joined Chelsea Groton Bank in 2012 and currently serves as Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. He has 25 years of commercial lending experience in Connecticut and serves as Chairman of Stonington’s Economic Development Comm-ission and on committees at the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut, and the Rotary Club of Mystic.
According to Timothy M.
