Groton Sportsmen’s Club Donates | The Resident

The Groton Sportsmen’s Club (GSC), Stonington, is proud to announce that this was the Club’s most successful year ever for charitable donations.
The GSC contributed $6,000 to the Joslin Diabetes Center bringing the Club’s cumulative donation over the last several years to $28,000.

Major donations were also made to the Haitian Health Foundation and the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center of $1000 and $500 respectively, as well as, many smaller contributions. The Club’s total contributions amounted to about $8,000.

The membership is also pleased they were able to provide college scholarships to five members’ children who are pursuing higher education.
