Natchaug Hospital presented Bill Turner, Regional Director of External & Government Affairs, AT&T, a Distinguished Service Award in recognition for his passionate advocacy on behalf of improving educational opportunities for at-risk youth.  Bill Turner ensured that Connecticut community and educational programs are included in grant support from AT&T’s $100 million national initiative focused on improving high school graduation rates.

This Distinguished Service Award was presented at a fund-raising luncheon hosted by the ECSU Foundation on behalf of Natchaug Hospital.  This third annual event generated close to $13,000 to support Natchaug Hospital’s education programs, a remarkable demonstration of community support for the work of Natchaug Hospital.

Natchaug Hospital’s network of nine schools provide K-12 special education for more than 300 emotionally disabled students each year.
