This photo of me was taken in 1979, while serving as Radio & TV Officer in the 103rd Public Affairs Detachment, Montana Army National Guard. Here, as a First Lieutenant, Colonel Richard B. Hansen, HQ 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) 1st SF, Utah Army National Guard is awarding me a Special Forces Coin for my press coverage of his Jumpmaster School held in Missoula, MT. I retired (Capt) from the RI ARNG in 1983.

Boire, chairman, Support Our Troops Armed Forces Day 2010, “…go out and find an event to participate in.  Or send a care package.  Or make a donation.  Find the core moral satisfaction in stepping up for those who step up for all of us….”  More here.
