  1. ALLEN THOMAS:

Something Special-UCONN Womens B-ball Team & Staff! I must say that I have never enjoyed watching a team such as tyhe UCONN womens team. I saw UCLA win 11 titles and I watched Boston win 13 titles but I have never ever, so never ever seen a team that has so much fun playing B-ball. If I had girls I would have maded sure that they watched your games and more importantly your interviews. In a time when little girls are in need of positive role models, in a time when there is a push to have female sports more acceptable by the public, in a time when there is a shameful gender war going on in the land of the free. It truly hurt this sportsman to see so many women wearring T-shirt to discredit your attempt at perfection for the second year in a row. If next years team can have as much fun as I seen this team have I believe you can do it again. I admire how you wanted so badly to win for your senior players and that is a record that you can be proud of too, that you score 12 points in the first half and still won the championship game-remarkable. This society is in need of teams and players who can show our children how to play the sport of B-ball.Truly your display of love for each other, the sport, family, community, school and friends, only God could have allowed us to witness what you young ladies did and I believe He really wanted us to learn from what having fun could lead to-DO IT AGAIN will be on my T-shirt. Continue to do well academically please… Allen R. Thomas New London VA Primary Care Ctr.
