The Nesbitt Scholarship is one of 65 funds at the Community Foundation that will distribute nearly a quarter million dollars in scholarships to at least 130 high school seniors and college students throughout eastern CT for the 2010-2011 school year.

The deadlines and applications can be found at www.cfsect.org or www.tricountyfoundation.org.  Awardees will be announced in late May.

“People are investing in the future when they help someone through college,” said Community Foundation President Alice Fitzpatrick.
