The Arthritis Foundation is offering three or more $1,000 college scholarships to high school seniors or college undergraduates with arthritis living in one of the five New England states. Applications are due April 16.
Students must have juvenile arthritis that has been diagnosed by a physician. They must also be a resident of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Northern New York (Clinton, Essex, or Franklin Counties). A volunteer committee judges scholarship applications based on academic achievement, disease impact, and volunteer service to the school or community.
Scholarship applications are available by contacting the Arthritis Foundation, Northern & Southern New England Chapter at 1.800.541.8350 or info.sne@arthritis.org.
