(l-r) New London Maritime Society assumed ownership of the New London Harbor Light, on Thursday, October 15th when Rob Pittaway, Founding member, Susan Tamulevich, director, and  Dr. George Sprecace, board president, filed the deed at New London City Hall.

The New London Maritime Society is the new owner of the New London Harbor Lighthouse. U.S. General Services Administration gave them the deed on Tuesday, October, 13th.

The original New London Harbor Lighthouse was built on the west side of the entrance to New London Harbor in 1760. It was removed when the current stone tower was built in 1801.
