Mohegan Sun employees spent the majority of  the week of September 28th performing a mini Extreme Makeover at Camp Pattagansett, East Lyme, home of the Boys & Girls Scouts, CT Rivers Council and United Way partner agencies.  United Way of Southeastern Connecticut helps to fund the Comprehensive Youth Development program that each of these agencies operate.

Mohegan Sun employees brought in an excavator and other large pieces of machinery to build a path to the lake, to include removing large trees, re-gravel the main entrance driveway, and erect wooden shoring that had fallen into the lake.  Along with large outdoor projects, they also cleaned up and painted the cabins and administration building.  For the final touches, Mohegan Sun donated and laid new carpets where appropriate.
