The Women’s Fellowship of Mystic Congregational Church added to its February gift of $15,300 from their book sale and annual bazaar and tea. Their spring tag sale and “Lunch with Lizzy” production enabled further contributions of $5,112 to the church and its missions. Stephanie Jackson portrayed Elizabeth Keckley, known as Lizzy, the seamstress to Mary Todd Lincoln during the Women’s Fellowship of Mystic Congregational Church’s “Lunch With Lizzy” production. The following agencies received contributions: Amistad, Breakfast Program at the First Congregational Church of New London, Child and Family Agency, FRESH, Groton Food Locker, H.O.P.E., the Korean Partnership, MASH, Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, Riverfront Children’s Center, Thames River Family Project, and Women to Women International. Knowing that these are difficult times for many of our local support organizations, they extend their thanks to the community for their donations and patronage.
