Actor Joe Pantoliano of TV’s The Sopranos fame with starring and supporting roles in more than 100 motion pictures, including Canvas, The Matrix and The Fugitive, is the guest speaker at The Connection’s First Annual Connecting with Hope Dinner. The public relations event for the nonprofit human services agency will be held on Friday, June 26, from 5:30-11 p.m. at The Stone House, 245 South Main Street, Deep River. Joe, who resides in Wilton, became a mental health activist after his diagnosis with clinical depression and operates his own foundation, No Kidding, Me Too! The business casual event includes a buffet dinner by the Center for Culinary Arts, silent auction, cocktail social, music by the swing band, Shiny Lapel Trio, and an agency presentation by The Connection on its efforts to serve more than 3,000 adults and children in need every month through 30 programs at 40 residential and outclient locations in Connecticut.
