The newest publishing project of the New London County Historical Society, the republication of the 1866 History of Norwich, by Frances Caulkins, will be celebrated at the Otis Library, Norwich, on Sunday April 19th, at 2 pm.

Nancy H. Steenburg, UConn, wrote the new introduction for the new edition of the book, and will be speaking at the event.

The project was supported by a grant from the Sachem Fund of the City of Norwich and the Mohegan Tribe. The republication honors the 350th anniversary of the founding of Norwich.
