Meet Dr. Elsa M. Nuñez, the first Latina president of Eastern Connecticut State University here. Since becoming the sixth president of Eastern, Elsa led the rededication of a remodeled and expanded student center, a new child development complex and the opening of a $56M state-of-the-art math and science building.
