We have seen many underprivileged children receive bikes, thanks to a caring organization, Bikes For Kids. This time around it was Citizen’s Bank that partnered with them. The New London Citizen’s Bank branch hosted the event on December 17. What perfect timing for the holiday season!
Chuck Graeb, founder, Bikes For Kids, presented 5 children with bikes. Chuck asked the children what the reason was behind giving them these bikes. “We are giving you these bikes because we love you and care for you,” Chuck said.
Although it was not a very big turnout due to the threatening winter weather, five kids rode away with huge smiles on their faces.
I have 2 mountain bikes and 1 BMX bike. I would like to donate for you to fix up for child in need of a bike. They are in good shape, with a little elbow grease they will be good as new. If you want them hopefully you can come to get them as i have cancer
