Dime Bank partnered with Bikes for Kids, once again, to give underprivileged children new bicycles to ride. The Montville branch hosted the event on November 19th. Seventeen bikes  were given to deserving children.

“Bikes for Kids is a program we started working with to help the Dime community,” said Charles O. Treat, Jr, Senior Vice President, Residential Lending, Dime Bank. “It’s a pleasure to see the kids so happy – to reach kids. It’s what our bank is all about.”

Dime Bank contacted Councilor William Caron, Liaison to Youth Center and Social Services, Montville, to help recommend children to receive the bikes. “Dime Bank is such a huge part of our community in Montville, through good times and rough times,” said Bill. “They have helped with the schools, social services – they are so involved.”
