It’s that Magical Time of Year again!!
The Westerly/Pawcatuck area has many free holiday events for everyone to enjoy!
The holiday kicks off with Santa’s Arrival via fire trucks to Dixon Square in Westerly at 6pm on Friday, November 28th. Santa , Winter Lady and other holiday characters will be there to greet all the children. The 12th Annual Holiday Stroll and Luminaries will be Wednesday, December 3rd from 5 to 9pm. Bundle up and enjoy strolling carolers, luminarias, hayrides with Santa and a cup of hot cocoa! Have dinner at your favorite downtown restaurant and then get a head start on your holiday shopping at over 50 eclectic shops! Also stop by the Artists Cooperative Gallery to see the works of our local artists!
On Saturday, December 6th, 13th, and 20th from 11am to 1pm the Downtown Business Association will be offering free hayrides throughout beautiful downtown Westerly. Also the Westerly Public Library offers holiday crafts and story times.
Also, don’t forget the other great activities such as breakfast with Santa at the YMCA, “A Christmas Carol” at the Granite Theatre, the Christmas Pops Concert by the Chorus of Westerly and the Annual First Night event.
Downtown has plenty of free parking available. Please remember to support the local businesses downtown this holiday season!
