Waterford Group Donates

On behalf of its associates, the Waterford Group Charitable Foundation recently donated $1,500 to the CT Humane Society in support of their 5th Annual “All Muttster” Dog Show and Kiddie Fair. Held on October 18 at the CT Humane Society’s Shelter and Companion Animal Sanctuary in Quaker Hill, the “All Muttster” Dog Show and Kiddie Fair is the organization’s largest event of the year for the Quaker Hill location.

“Today’s event is a great way to celebrate Adopt-a-Dog Month, while bringing the community together for a fun time,” commented Alicia Wright, Public Relations Director, CT Humane Society. “The generosity of the associates of Waterford Group will go a long way in providing care to animals throughout southeastern CT, and we thank them for supporting our 5th Annual “All Muttster” event,” added Alicia.

Waterford Group Charitable Foundation is funded in part through voluntary contributions and fundraising held by the associates of Waterford Group and its affiliates. Associates in the southeastern region of the State chose the CT Humane Society as a recipient of a portion of funds raised this year.

“The CT Humane Society is to be commended for the care that they provide to animals in our region,” stated Terry Bickhardt, Co-President, Waterford Hotel Group. “Many of our associates are pet owners and are proud to support this worthy cause. I’d like to thank all of our associates for their continued generosity and commitment to helping others in our community,” added Terry.

The purpose of the CT Humane Society is to promote humanity and kindness, and to prevent cruelty to man and animals, by information, statistics, appropriate literature, and by all lawful means which they may deem wise and best, and by assisting in prosecution of crimes of a cruel and inhumane nature; and generally to encourage justice and humanity and to discourage injustice and inhumanity.
