The Groton Lodge of Elks conducted its seventh annual Soccer Shoot on September 27th at the Lodge. Mike McHugh, Leading Knight, Pete Lebejko, PER, George Strutt, PER, Brian Proctor, Trustee, Gary Chavis, PER, and Frank Gavigan, Loyal Knight, are a few of the members of the Elks that attended.
For the Boys U-8 Division, David Tompkins received first place. In the Girls U-8 Division, Olivia Rusk placed first, Julia Zieminski, second and Megan Clabby, third.
In the Boys Division U-10, Hendrik Khoury, first, Michael Guth, second, Matt Parizo, third, and for the Girls Julia Tompkins placed first.
In Boys Division U-12, Jacob Parizo, first, Robert Tompkins, second and Pieter Khoury, third. For Girls Division U-12, Kate Parizo, first, Madeleine Rusk, second and Christina Tompkins, third.
The 1st place winners will represent the Lodge in the District Competition.
