Last press day, Mohegan Sun opened its Casino of the Wind, “the third wonder of the world,” as stated by Chairman Bruce “Two Dogs” Bozsum, at the ribbon-cutting ceremony held outside of the entrance to the 64,000 sq ft addition. Featuring 45,000 sq ft of gaming space with 680 slots, 28 table games and a state-of-the-art 42-table poker room, the new casino boasts a 35-foot high, 50-foot wide electronic and animated water wall. Really, in keeping with Mohegan’s design style, it’s gorgeous! Check it out on pages 20 – 21. Hats off to our Mohegan friends for bringing us more glamour, fun, food, games and 350 permanent jobs plus 850 construction positions! P.S. The new 2,600 sq ft Chief’s Deli is now open and the offerings are delectable.
Hats off too, to Colin “Reggie” Rice of Lebanon for earning the Boy Scouts of America’s highest rank of Eagle Scout. A graduate of St. Bernard’s High School, Reggie is attending Three Rivers Community College. Congrats on page 4.
