Twelve members of Mystic BSA Troop 2 recently completed a 100 Mile Hiking Trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. Philmont is a 137,463 acre National High Adventure Base in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Cimarron. The crew departed on Saturday, July 19 from Bradley Airport and returned on Monday morning, August 4. This trek included the highest mountains of Philmont including Mt. Baldy at 12,441 ft.
