Groton Fall Festival

The Groton Business Association (GBA) of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce will present its third Groton’s Fall Festival during Columbus Day weekend in October.  Mark you calendar now and don’t miss Groton’s premier annual event.The festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at  Poquonnock Plains Park at the bottom of Fort Hill, Sutton Park and Grasso Technical School, all  in the heart of Groton.This is a rain or shine event.  Admission is free. Public parking is available at the parking lot at Grasso Tech.  Shuttle buses will run throughout the day to the Festival sites

If you are an artist, a craftsman, a local business, a local organization or a potential food vendor, you should register now and save.  Register now for the early bird discount by September 5, 2008 at www.grotonbiz.com and save $25.

This year, the Groton Fall Festival Committee encourages attendees to bring an item for the local food bank.  See our website for suggested items.

This day long event will feature a variety of activities, including families, seniors and children.  Activities and exhibits will include an arts and crafts show, business displays, 9Teen concert, a farmers market, a car show, the Comcast and Q105 On Demand Karaoke finals, face painting, displays of Town equipment, food stations, a National Guard Black Hawk helicopter, a skating contest, and the State Police convincer.
